The 1st Thursday Art Walk has something for everyone. If you’re a foodie, you can eat at award winning restaurants or simply grab a delicious bite from one of the various food trucks. One can peruse the art galleries and get acquainted with the artist who created the pieces of art you love. The Cevapcici Festival is one of the many events that make San Pedro so special. San Pedro’s diversity, however, is not the sole factor. The way we San Pedrans openly welcome and celebrate our friends’ cultures is truly unique. Watch this video and you’ll notice the warmth of the people that make San Pedro great.

The Russian Sailing Training vessel, Pallada, was docked in San Pedro. The Pallada is the FASTEST sailing boat in the world. The cadets on the Pallada tour around the world, learning the ins and outs of life on the sea while promoting good will. Cabrillo Beach hosted an amazing fleet of 100% green, ecologically friendly, Pacific Voyagers this past week. While traveling all around the world, the Pacific Voyagers made a pit stop in San Pedro. Free tours were given by the friendly crew. If you missed it, experience it here. Enjoy the video!

Don’t miss the unique and beautiful Pacific Islander boats as they embark on their voyage. The boats were in San Pedro until August 28th. Free rides were given by each boat from 10am to 3pm. Here’s a tour of one of the boats, provided by yours truly, Experience San Pedro.

Good food, good people and good music, the Summer Bash had it all. Food trucks, to our knowledge for the first time ever, showed up and shut down a gas station for a truly amazing community event in San Pedro.
